While Silvia & John went on a tour to the Somme, I dragged myself out of bed so that Peter & I could go to the Palace of Versailles. Eating breakfast was a challenge as the smell of food made me want to vomit.
It took an hour by train to get there. The Palace was very beautiful but as I was sick I didn’t really enjoy it that much.
The Gardens were huge and would have taken a whole day to walk around but we just looked at a small part of them.
